Go Home And Rest, Fani-Kayode Says Buhari Should Resign
Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign.
The former Minister while sharing the latest photograph which surfaced online showing President Buhari with six governors after a lunch meeting in London yesterday said It is an act of cruelty to expect Buhari to lead a nation of 180 million, that he should resign, go home and rest.
He Said:
“The President/Presidency is not meant to be a tourist attraction, a museum of old fossils or a mausoleum of decaying bodies to be viewed by curious dignitaries in a distant foreign land.
“It is an act of cruelty to expect this poor man to lead a nation of 180 million. Let him resign, go home and rest!”
President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday received seven state governors, including those from the opposition party, PDP , who travelled to
visit him in London.
The delegation was led by the chairman of the Governors Forum, Governor Abdulaziz Yari.
The aide to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie has mocked Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose and the former Aviation minister, after new photos of the President with his wife and a delegation of governors hit the internet.
Onochie said Fayose would be choked by his lies that the president is on life support . She also called out Fani-Kayode, who had described previous pictures of Buhari with the All Progressives Congress, APC , in London as old, fake and an insult to Nigerians.
Posting pictures of some PDP governors with Buhari, Mrs. Onochie wrote, via@Laurestar, “Storm Over Buhari’s Pictures with APC chiefs -its collective insult on Nigerians – FFK. Here are PDP governors insulting Nigerians.”
It would be recalled that the former minister, Fani-Kayode, had alleged that the picture that appeared online on Sunday showing some APC Governors, party Chairman, John Oyegun and President Muhammadu Buhari, purportedly taken in London, was “old and fake.
He claimed the picture was was taken in Abuja some time back and not during the Sunday London visit.
“I have been reliably informed that the picture was taken in Abuja some time back and not yesterday in London.
“Quite apart from that, even though the picture was meant to have been taken in London curiously all the drinks on the table are Nigerian products and Nigerian-made.
“Did the Governors take all those drinks along with them to London when they went to see the President?, he had said.
